Trying to make a decision...

So its time for new tires and wheels. Im really stuck on between 18x8 Tarmac 3s or 18x8.5 Rota Torques. Ive been looking at pictures forever and just cannot seem to make up my mind, my car is 04 WRX JBP so im looking to get them in some sort of dark color...Gunmetal...trying to black go for that blackout look.

Looking at Advan Neova AD08 or P-Zeros for tires...

What do you guys think?

No but i plan on rolling them....maybe. Since reading i think im leaning towards Kumho Ecsta XS 245/35/18 on the 18x8s. From that ive read that with a mild drop, you can get away from fender rolling and all. I wanted the Star Specs but they didnt have them in 245/35/18, which i read was the "ideal" size.

if youres going 8.5 im pretty sure you're gonna have to rollem especially since they'll be 18 inches in diameter as well. Are you sure you want to be running 35s though? Thats some extremely low-pro.

im going to go with the 18x8 rim...but from all the searching i did on NASIOC it seems as everyone that ran 245 tires said that they would go with 245/35/18 over the 245/40/18...saying that it was a bit to tall?? It is a hard decision...i also didnt want to much sidewall height really. What is the downside to going with 245/35/18???

probably a rougher ride and possibly one step closer to bending/cracking new rims, but if you don't care about the ride and have no pot holes around where you live, you should be fine.

Yea there arent any potholes, well rarely anyway, so thats good to go. I dont mind the rougher ride...Yes the offset is 48, so im thinking i might have some minimal fender work in the rear. But hopefully none.
