Just working on getting my picture. Got a ways to go But if Daredevil's got one I WANT ONE.

There, that's 31. So only 1469 to go. Should be done in no time.

Tim
PS: not really but I'm bored working on some tedious programming stuff and I need to take a break. Imagining trips on curvy road helps some.

I drove it last month before our redwood trip, some pretty heavy elevation changes, and a lot of blind corners, some of the downhill twisties will catch you off guard if your not 100% focussed.
Sound all good. No water crossings?....he asked hopefully

Which way did you run it, 1 to 128 or 128 to 1?

Tim

Yorkville (128) to the coast and no, no water crossings in September/October- but I wouldn't bank on it during the rainy season

I am far beyond "knowing" the area...

...I've put in over 60K on sports cars between Santa Rosa and Humbolt.

I know the area VERY well.
This is my second WRX,
I got the first one just for these roads.
I know the area very well and have maps from general to ones that show the water sources and name each ridge.

So anyone who has preferences or knowledge of the area go ahead and lets try and nail down two main choices: the inland and the coastal routes.

The 128 is dream like when it is open but HORRRRRIBLE when it is packed. But there are over 5 great roads that go to the coast from inland, and any of them are great.

There are many great inland roads as well.
But as for govermental currency punisment units, the coast is WAY better.
Regardless of where we go there will be great driving and beautiful scenic stops.

beverages anyone?
so far
Crystal Pepsi (yuk)
Bottled Water
Newcastle.
Fresh O.J.

Anyone want chips candy fruit etc?

edit to add: Daredevil you better be there..
Someone loan him some stockers and 92's
sad if you dont make it daredevil, I don't think it's gonna rain.
I'm coaching a football game Saturday so I am praying for sun!!

Daredevil,

You wussss! My tires suck for winter wet weather. The RE 070 stockers on my car are made just for summer driving. I'm going. Just hold back a bit and you will be fine. Nice try, using you mom an excuse and all, but I didn't buy it...YOU BETTER GO DAMN IT!

By the amount of posts and replies, it should be one of the biggest turnouts yet for one of my planned runs...I am:banana:
