OK, I think it's time for another Sonoma Co drive

It's been a while everyone. Let's try to get a drive together for the fall. BEFORE all of the rain comes. Drive, food and drive type thing. So, let's see the hands....

Plus, I gotta rack up some more miles on my new ride... White STi.

Not me. I don't want to get my new car all messy. Not just yet. Plus the STi tires suck for off road any way. How about a nice road trip on tarmac?

Paul, why don't you join us on this one:

The breaks are at Tomales and Occidental, not exactly the epicurian capitals of the west coast, but there are tasty snacks available both places and it should be a fun little jaunt.

Pete, we will see. I don't know If the break in will be done by that time. I know how you drive, trust me, you were glued to the back of my RS when we were on that little road trip a couple years back on Fort Ross rd. I want to wait till the car is broke in and I am used to how it handles before I go with you on a rally type event. I will check on the thread you started from time to time to see how it all comes out....

For those who don't wish to participate in PSOPERS event and just want to drive a bit and hang out eat and blab, let me know via this thread. The bad weather is just down the road and a nice sunny day out driving is just what the doctor ordered. C-mon everyone, let's get a meet together!

Seriously Paul , this one is not going to be very intense, apart from the 3 sections where you'd try to hold 35 MPH or 25 MPH, it's all "at your own pace" driving with plenty of time scheduled at breaks to socialize.

Although we may already have a full grid as far as scored participants, you- or anybody else that wants to, is welcome to come along for the drive, you can run on car zero time with me if you'd like, or I could use a sweep car or two to bring up the end of the field.

The sweep car idea may be doable. I will double check my calander and see it works out for me. I will let you know... Plus, I will double check the thread too...

I can send you a copy of the route I used for that, and I've worked out at least 3 other day-long trips up that way that I think somebody should do sometime.....

e-mail me at psoper@therallyeclub.org and I'll send you some stuff to check out
