Wooooooooo! Up by 6 games over the Rangers!
Oh, and speaking of the Giants, I'll be doing something somewhat sacrilegious next week. My folks will have some visitors from the homeland (The Philippine Islands) and my Ma wants me to take them to AT&T. We'll be taking the Ferry over from Vallejo sometime after lunch to do a bit of sightseeing before the 7:15 game vs. da Brew Crew. Don't worry, I'll be rocking my A's cap to represent! Maybe Kruk will scratch me out.

And for some reason, every A's game I've attended the last couple years someone nearby in the stands is always in Giants gear. I'm assuming that person is w/ family/friends being held at O.co against their will.

Bit of a head-scratcher here... A's acquire Callaspo (for Grant Green) to bolster infield depthI have the game on while doing some work and saw the announcement. I need to look at some things a li'l closer before I can comment fully.
Oh, and the Green & Gold giving up HRs to the VERY long-ball capable Jays. The defensive mistakes don't help either, eh?

They want to rotate Callaspo in platoon with Sogy at 2nd. Even though Grant flopped when he was finally called up, I think they might have give. Up on him too soon.
Oh well, Welcome to Oakland.

Oof. Tough couple losses. Falling short with the walk-off mojo 2 consecutive nites. While pies are FUN, I'd much rather see them give run support early while the starters keep the opposition's bats at bay.
We really need them to get some traction. I dunno if I could handle the anguish & tension a wildcard spot brings.
Anyone going to any of the remaining games in this homestand?

Glad they were able to salvage a win this afternoon. Sonny Gray went deep into the game pitching a stellar 8 innings. And the bats were alive from the get go.
Hmmm... that formula sounds strangely familiar. As if someone mentioned it recently or something. Oh, of course, that was me almost 8 hours ago.
LET'S GO OAKLAND! **clap clap clap-clap-clap**

I was at the game on Wednesday. Least amount of fans I've seen at a game since opening game in 2006. No fun seeing Young's game winning home run get snatched.
I'll be at the game on Saturday. Ordered my playoff tickets on Wednesday =) Seats I had last year were already sold out =( Had to move to a different section.
