To think we could've drafted Aaron Rodgers over Alice Smith...

Watching Rodgers throw a deep, accurate pass is just amazing, compared to Alice Smith's pathetic passes when he was playing for the 49ers

Troy Smith is ok, but I think we still need to look at a QB in the upcoming draft.

Everyone blames the QB, but its really the damn line that is horrible. He has ZERO time to make a play. Thats why he is sacked soo many times. Receivers can't make moves to get open and there is too much pressure. We have been through like 4 QB's in the past 2 seasons, there has to be a reason for that.

Yes, the Niners O line is horrible.

Rodgers numbers were crap compared to Smiths when they were prospects. It's just Rodgers developed a lot better than Smith.

Luckily the NFC West is still within reach.

Were those Green Bay Packers throwbacks smothered in Crisco before the game? Cuz that's what it looked like to me with all those horrible tackle attempts.

Jason La Confora from nfl network just reported Ryan Leaf says "Alex smith sucks" Jay Glazer confirms Steve DeBerg said Alex is like a huge pimple on the face of the 49ers just when you think hes gone away he pops up again to torture you....
Alex Smith is back in 49ers' starting lineup

bring on the BOOOOOs! im currently looking to be at candlestick to make myself heard

Oline is what it comes down to, along with the running game for any QB to become anything. O-line can get you those grinding yards. Keep O on the field longer, tire a defense out. Basically carry the game if need be. Bad o-line, defense is on the field longer, even if the defense gets the ball, still can't grind out the clock.

The only time a QB sucked *** and somehow still won was Dilfer of the Ravens (omg wtf can't believe he got a ring, talk about carried). Sucks for Marino knowing Dilfer got a ring, lol.

Bradford, amazingly doesn't have a team that runs all the well and he's doing good.
Stafford gets hurt too much because his O line blows, running game isn't all the best either.
Flacco
Ryan (IMO he'll be the top QB in the future, how many 4th quarter comebacks has he done THIS season alone? Amazing)
Sanchez

In any case, 49ers lost a few games on the last drive multiple times. If they could change those to wins, they would probably be sitting on top of the division.

This season has really made me sick. I have season tickets and this season has been painful. I had very high hopes for this season and have been let down tremendously. The small chance of making the playoffs still gives me that hope, however I feel that is a false hope at this point. I guess I will find out this Sunday. Singletary and Alex will be gone after this year and hopefully we can get a coach that can make adjustments and is not stubborn at running the ball down the middle on third and long.

Coach Singletary was on 107.7 The Bone this morning and announced that Alex Smith is going to be the starter for the upcoming game against the Seahawks this weekend. He stated that he felt that Alex Smith gives "The Best Chance of Winning" with his "Game Time Experience".

I thought we were FINALLY done with the Alex Smith days in S.F., but it looks like he is once again going to get another shot at being the starter.

Hopefully the game will turn out like game 1 with Seattle owning the 49ers and Dingleberry thanking them for the *** whooping once again.

Alex Smith: The Jeckell & Hyde of Niners quarterbacks. I think Katy Perry wrote the song about him when she sang, "Hot n' Cold". He's definitely on fire and that Niners defense is totally doing him a favor.

HasselHACK getting intercepted so many times, this is ridiculous. I even saw Nate Clements do a Ray Lewis tribute celebration on the last red zone interception I just saw.
