Sounds like you could use some water.

It's definitely something I want to play with in the future - when they can offer really quiet models that benchmark significantly better than this gigantic NH-D14 I have

There's a kink in one of my lines that I should fix. Been that way since I put it together.

All I have is a silver coil. As long as it's clear, and the temps are good, I'm not going to **** with it.

I did a little upgrade to the PC today. It didnt really need it as i was playing all of my games on high or ultra. I went from a Gigabyte 570GTX SOC to a Gigabyte 770GTX OC. The windforce cooling system on these cards is no joke. This card is a Beast, its not only highest clocked out the box but it also can handle being OC'd even further.

Btw anyone interested in a nice 570gtx soc? I will be posting it in the for sale section shortly.

OC'd my FX-4100 to 4 GHz, going for 4.2.

Installed a new ASUS Radeon HD 7870, OC'd that.

Runs games like a champ. It's nothing compared to most of your guys' setups though LOL. Next I am probably gonna upgrade the HD to a 1TB WD Black and upgrade my DDR3-1066 to some DDR-1866

If you haven't yet, get a good solid state drive. IMO best bang for your buck upgrade.

I've been out of this game for a little while now.

I don't understand the concept of running a small SSD alongside another harddrive, do people just load the OS onto the SSD and load everything else on the HDD?

Yep. Exactly that. Cuts down on boot time.

If you're a baller you get you OS and some games on a SSD. Gaming on an SSD is AMAZING. Loading screens are non-existent.

Remember, SSDs are most efficient when they are at less than half capacity. An SSD will slow down when it is full of data.
