Would rather get swept in the regular season and get redemption in the post season.
It sucks losing to them, but the post season is all I really care about at this point. This series was just a blip on the radar as far as I'm concerned.

Oh wait, that's right, he doesn't actually want to stay in oakland and as soon as something better comes up, he's going to leave.

But when you got Pomz punching and breaking his hand... And two guys out with tommy John... You gotta Mame moves. And I won't miss Dan. Prospects looked though, so if they pan out that will burn but again our situation deemed this deal to work out.

I'm totally for this trade. This should solidify the starting pitching staff and make them more competitive in the playoffs.
Hopefully the clubhouse starts thinking that they have a good shot at winning the whole damn thing this year. They finally have the pieces to shake that stupid ALDS monkey off their backs.

The funny thing is....next year (or the following, i can't remember) it wouldn't be out of the question to trade Samardzija in a three way trade to get russel back. I can't remember who tweeted that off hand.
