I think 11 sounds like a good start time too.

Maybe have 10am arrival for all the car show folks so they can get setup in the same place and organized before the remainder of the attendees arrive.

Why isn't this a sticky?

Also... just got the go ahead on one of the food trucks. I'll get their logo to Matt for the site and update this thread as soon as I get the go ahead from the other trucks.

Looking at 3 total trucks.

I'm stoked to have these guys give the thumbs up!

Yeah. I foresee them doing very very well. You can bet your butt I'll hit them up AT LEAST once. LOL.

They seem like very cool guys and are down to help with charity work so they could be a recurring vendor for these events in the future.

I'll update when I know what's going down for the food but I'm leaning toward something out of the norm for food trucks. I would like it to be the kind of thing that people are stoked on and remember.

I really need someone to step in and handle the car show for me. I'm down to help pick categories and what not but I need someone to run it and handle trophies and what not. How was it handled last year? I'm sure we can figure out budget for a couple trophies and prize packs.

I'm still trying to sign more vendors up.

What are you guys feeling for charities? I'd like to keep it small. Last year was a special case and we've always done animal shelters... which I'm totally cool with. But I have a heart for low income families. Education and food for the lower case is getting ridiculous.

I have been leaning toward
Welcome :: The Food Bank for Monterey County

But I know Daniel has a history with the animal folks and I'm cool with that too. I just want it to go to a charity that needs it and it will go where it's meant to go.... a place that will be stoked and notice the help... not a huge one that we're just a drop in the bucket.

I sponsored 2 kids for YEARS. I sure hope they got something out of it.

I'm leaning towards the food bank because I already do work with them and I know where it goes and that they're not over there getting rich of donations. We just finished doing the graphics for their new truck they got donated to them from Walmart.

But if anyone has anything else I'm open. But I want to have it locked in this week. Some vendors are waiting on that and other information.

Damn that blows.. i really hope they got some of it.

Yea i think its even better if one of the members has done work there before.. just to know some more inside info on the charity and that the money would be put to good use.

I'm glad you feel that comfortable with all of us to share that news.

But what are you talking about with the "last" comment?
