We pay at the door to get in?

 

Awesome! I think MOST of the people heading out are going to be hammy noobs so don't feel left out. It's the first time it's been at this location since 2008.


As for the event... there will be a booth set up where you pick up your shirt/hoodie that you order and pay to get in and get a wrist band. If you're seen without a wrist band on you'll be asked to go pay.

You will also have to pay for park entrance separately.

I need to confirm it but it looks like the event itself will be $5 and will include 1 raffle ticket. That means $4 basically as raffle tickets are $1 each.

 

Do I need to preorder the shirt / hoodie or order it at the booth? Sorry a little confused with this wording.

 

I am actually trying to knock out 2 designs for the shirt this week so we can vote on it and I can start taking pre-orders.


The plan is to have pre-orders completed and the shirts made before the meet. You'd pick up your shirt/hoodie at the meet.

There will be a few extras available at the meet but they will be at an increased price. Probably $5 more than pre-orders and there won't be very many and once they're gone they're gone.

I may take pre-orders. I'm setting up a paypal address and will update the thread with that address and a final price tonight.

I was going to do it last night but I was busting hump on the shirt design. I'm about half way to the shirt design and I have some ideas rolling around working with Justin on the special addition.

The special addition will be for volunteers and vendors only. It will not be free but it will be at a discounted price. If I can swing free I'll do it. But more than likely volunteers will just get a discounted price and have access to the special shirt... which if things goes as planned is gonna be sweet!


So more news coming over the next 2-4 nights. I have to reach out to all the vendors tonight as well. I have a few folks that have been waiting on answers for a few days.

 

Any word from the i-club gods whether the show winners will get custom i-club titles like in previous years?

 

I'm sure I can twist someone's arm to make that happen.
