No you and the article are right, Red Bull does have the fastest car. But Hamilton beat Vettel, so we are agreeing that Hamilton is just a better driver than Vettel, thats the only explanation right?

I think the Mercedes is still quite a bit faster than the RBR, but surprisingly how fast the RBR got in such short time. Hoping Ferrari can get in the mix too.

Unless what he said is true about the car being nearly 80hp down in power vs the rest. Then it's definitely the best chasis, just not power train.
The argument against vettel has been he's had the best car (true for 1.5 seasons). Somehow that being Mercedes this year, no one is knocking lewis for having the best car.

The Mercedes power unit is by far the best right now. Red Bull probably does have the best chassis. No one is attacking Hamilton right now because he hasn't been dominating the sport like Vettel and Red Bull has been the benchmark the last few years. If Mercedes/Hamilton do what Reb Bull/Vettel has done we'll see the complaining then.

Nah. I think with the vast majority of f1 fans being in the UK their hatred for vettel is really the regurgitation of their hatred for Schumacher.
And for him being an asshat, especially when he was younger. Just because he won a lot.
