Kevin Magnussen and Daniil Kvyat were impressive in their first F1 race.

Damn straight. Maybe it's a bit easier not having to unlearn the old style of F1?

I feel like Magnussen has been some what over shadowed by all the hoopla over the weekend.

So glad I've heard the V8s in person.

this right here.

All of you new engine apologists that have only ever heard F1 on your TV will never know how absolutely terrible this **** is compared to the last year. You are making excuses, no one ever had to make excuses for the old engines -_-

When v12s got banned, people were worried. When v10s got banned people worried. Now that v8s are banned, people are worried...

But really, the sound will likely mature. The engines are not frozen, and will likely get some development, and the sound could very well change.

Not that it's going to be like the NA engines... but some more like the V6 Turbos of the 80s would be dope.

Then again... I don't mind these cars either. I love how they have crazy high torque, and monsters they are. Sound is awesome, but for me, the v12s were the best, and the v10s and v8s weren't up to the standard either. So these aren't either, so no difference to me anyways.
