Just Vettle is.
Daniel races the same car.
Right?
ORR do you mean they are building/changing the car to fit Vettle better cuz he is not as fast?

Playing Devils Advocate Here
DR is a blank slate since it's his first year with RBR plus with the changes for the new year he doesn't have any previous understanding of what its like to be behind the wheel of the RB. Vettel on the other hand knew that he could throw the RB9 into a corner and it would bite and keep him going, and he hasn't found that feel with the RB10. Coupled with the reliability issues that Vettel has been having it's only made it harder for him to get comfortable with the new layout.

So your saying that last year the car was so good all he had to do was slam the gas out of the corner and the car did the rest. Now he is finally getting used to actually having to drive the car so he is getting faster.

I think is quite evident he's not adjusting to the car well. Or was, cause he is now.

I don't see anything wrong with that at all. Many, many drivers struggle on new setups.

But you are more than welcome to keep nitpicking, doesn't really matter, he's already gotten much faster than just a few months ago.

I fully expect Mercedes to run into penalties by the end of the year, at least, we will see it with lewis. He's had 4 turbo/ERS changes this year already, and I believe he will get 1 more and then after that any turbo/ERS changes will result in grid penalties.

No way Daniel or Seb have a shot at winning the season right now. That's what happens when you don't have testing in the offseason, and you're down 80hp.

Just how it is. Look at Alonso when he went back to Renault. He wasn't anything special. He drove the car well, but it wasn't good enough to win.

Daniel won because the Merc was down 160hp, and even then, it took him a long, long time to get past Nico. Merc got it right, everyone else, EVERYONE, got it wrong.

A lot like the BrawnGP car. They got it right, and Button liked the car. Rubens didn't like it and had to change part way through, and he got a couple wins, but never got close to challenging button's large points lead. Who got 2nd place that year in a not so great car?

That's right haters!

Mercedes has enjoyed better reliability with these components than its rivals, although Hamilton had replaced his control electronics after Saturday morning practice. That was the third unit he has used this year, compared to Rosberg's two.

With this failure, Hamilton will have to use his fourth set of control electronics, meaning he has just one more set to use for the balance of the season without incurring grid penalties.
I Guess it's the control units for the ERS/Turbos

I don't think the advantage is that big if there is even an advantage at all for a driver that's been to the track. I drove the track last night in GT6 and I'm pretty sure all the top teams have it in their sims already. If anything, Red Bull should have an advantage since it's now got their name on it and that big bull statue must equal to 60hp.

Alonso won one race...that win costed a lot for a couple individuals.

No way, having experience on that track is going to be a HUGE advantage for Vettel, not sure if he'll be on pole, but he should at least qualify well above his teammate.

By the way, I haven't caught qualifying yet, how'd he do?

(okay, last one )

Good race!

Love that track. So much character and so different vs other tracks. Hope they are there for a while.

Vettel... Reminds me of Kimi in 2006 where the car just constantly breaking on him.

These brake issues are tough for Mercedes. Really think with 11 GPs to go that they will face some big issues later on if not grid penalties.

Not sure who I told at Crows landing that Williams should do well at this track, but I was right.

Just wish I wasn't so busy as to forget to make some changes for my fantasy team.

Before people out there start pulling the race card for Lewis, no... His team is not showing favoritism to Nico die to the German-German relationship.

I see it coming...

Webber being a dick as usual.... Asking lewis what he thought about how Nico's pitstops were quicker than his. GTFO with that **** Mark...

Who's Little B's in the fantasy league?

From watching the race, they retired Vettel's car just to save miles since he was a lap down.

I don't know, but his combination has been strong. It was my team before a tried a change and then he got ahead of me.

Still a lot of racing left.
