Hamilton at his home GP and Rosberg's transmission goes kaboom. Next race at Hockenheim, Hamilton is going to go kaboom for no reason too while leading the race.

I honestly don't think it was a tranny "kaboom". I think it was a convenient software issue, a bug or something. It will probably migrate to Hammy's car next race. But curious if he starts the next race with a new tranny or power unit.

Crazy quali that led to a crazy race.
I really wanted Jenson to catch the podium. I hope Kimi is aight. Bummer for Masa.
Nico's failure was a bummer. But it brought Lewis right back into the chase. It's going to be great to see the two of them continue to battle it out in the points.

The whining was great and so was the battle itself!

On lap 48 he did chop him pretty hard. I mean I suppose you'd be pretty ticked off if you got cut off hard like that.
It's good that alonso didn't crash into him, cause, if he had, Alonso would have been penalized... not to mention what could have happened due to a crash.
But the fighting was good. I only heard 1 radio call from vettel about the chop and being potentially being pushed off if he didn't concede. Vettel for sure has whined way, way worse in the past. This hardly seemed like much.

I think they broadcasted 2 radios from Vettel and 1 from Alonso. Both were whining, but only 1 gets the flak.

The 2005 Japanese Grand Prix at the imperious Suzuka circuit is without doubt the most thrilling example of flat-out racing I’ve ever attended. Starting in 17th position, Kimi drove a stunning race, eventually chasing down and passing Giancarlo Fisichella’s Renault on the final lap to take a crushing victory. It makes me shiver just thinking about it now…

Rollin' on Bubs!

IDK if I like it. Makes it hard to tell what tires they're on. I have that issue with DTM. It's impossible to see the sidewalls when they're such a low profile.

Alonso's complaint was that Vettel left his DRS flap open, or opened it, through a series of corners where no DRS is allowed.
One was crying like a baby that it was too hard to pass and that he should be let through, the other was complaining about a perceived technical infraction after a pass was made. Therefore the reason that only one got the flak.
I think when the wheel is spinning, it looks alright. The still shots of a big wheel and tiny brakes don't look that great.

Vettel was complaining because he couldn't get by Alonso, but Alonso did nothing wrong other than to race him hard.

However, as I stated earlier, SkySports showed that Alonso may have lost the car for a split second and went a slight bit wide holding it. I agree Alonso was just racing and pushing hard.
I agree with what other commentators have said, raced like true warriors but cried like babies. I believe this applies to both.
