This is something I'm looking forward to I've been following tizen since the release of their source.. I may need to borrow a friends s4 to try it out.

 

I noticed there were already a TON of Samsung branded apps on the S4, so not surprising.

The "bubble" ended up being in the screen protector. Must have been a fluke or something, because that bubble was there BEFORE I put the screen protector on it... Got the same guy at the store who sold it for me and he checked it out and said everything was OK, so whatevs. There are still two small ones on the edge outside of the protector, but they aren't even on the display portion. Crisis averted

 

Any S3, S4 owners having issues with doing NFC with non samsung phones?

 

Works fine for me, tried it out last week I'm on a s3 with my own ROM. Are you stock, rooted, or rooted with ROM?

girl at the local tity bar was trying to share with me solo pictures of her at home, was so disappointed when it wouldn't work

 

The back story behind this is hilarious. I'm assuming you know how NFC works right? Could also be that her phone doesn't have the chip in the battery.

Side note, my girlfriends sister has an S3, I'll test it out with my N4 later this week and let you know. What app were you using?

 

She had an GS3. I've done it before with my nexus 7 tab at home to my Nexus 4. Takes about 5 seconds. The stripper also showed me on her settings NFC was enabled.

I know NFC isn't the best way to transfer photos, but this is so much easier way of getting pics instead of asking for their email, phone number etc.

On my nexus 4 and 7 all I have to do is load up the photo put them back to back and you'll be notified of the transfer, hit touch to beam

 

 

This tech needs to take off!
