Nurburgring trip planning..
So..I think I'll share a bit.... We started replanning the dates for my trip tonight.
Nuerburgring 2009
Sending the car over on the boat..
So anyways, Now the plan is to finish up the car and get travel final.
I'll stay for 1.5 - 2 months.
Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Alps, Ireland, UK are the main goals to vist.
Cant wait to run the suby at the ring. Maybe I can catch the Subaru Nürburgring Adventure.
I want to hit the shores for mid july. MotoGP will be in Sachsenring German and end of month also Donington Park Britain
So I would hang for the usgp at laguna.. Since I used to work in the teams, I think it would be fun to hangout with some old friends
If we cant get it togther for july. Then november is the next window and no motogp. But weather might be crappy. I have emails out for info now.

Wow, sounds like so much fun. Ballpark how much does it cost to do something like this? Also, how much is it to ship the car there and back? I'm sure you've heard of this, but you can rent a pretty nice BMW to race around the ring. http://www.rent-racecar.de/gb/

That is one awesome vacation. Lapping the 'ring is on my list of things I absolutely must do.
Yes. Watch videos, read tech articles, do ridealongs, ask those who have experience, do whatever you can. I've heard so many horror stories of tourists who thought they knew that track after running hundreds of video game laps wrecking their bbeloved cars. Just be careful, especially if the track is even the slightest bit wet.
