Ah yes, because the entire state should only be doing one thing at a time. You're up in Sac, why didn't you go pressure them to do a decent budget, rather than just complain on i-Club.

GREAT POST!!!
Counterfeit Clean Air Stickers: This new law will make it a crime to forge, counterfeit, or falsify a Clean Air Sticker. These stickers are currently issued by DMV to certain low emission vehicles and permit vehicles with these stickers to be driven in the HOV lane. (California Senate Bill 1720/Lowenthal)
so its legal now!!! crap im going to make it before the new year hehe

I always find it amusing when people on forums make assumptions like that. "Why don't you do something about it then?" Well crap, maybe I am! Of course, that never occurs to the people that make statements like that.

Eh, I think those fines are just for money making purposes. Not too big, where people will mind too much, but small enough so they keep doing it over and over.
I think the idea of preventing accidents should have a bigger fine. Something around 200 and 500. It should be a greater fine than a cell phone on the ear because texting actually takes your eyes off the road (unless you're some pro texter without having to look at ur phone and sending message).
