i current have a 04 wrx. and i need to get a second car, i cant decide if i will get an wrx or mazdaspeed 3. and who i need to see if im buying wrx?

I would seriously consider a MS3. 263hp, 6spd, comfortable seats, xenon lights, bose sound system. Thats a pretty trade off for AWD.

 

Drove the MS3 and have a 09 Mazda 3 hatch in the garage right now.

The interior is extremely tacky imo. It's not bad but the gauges are extremely hard to see, especially at night. Too much torque steer since it's fwd and much more interior noise.

You'd be much happier with a 09 WRX.

Edit: If I was to get something and I had an 04 WRX and looking in this specific price range...bar none: 09/10 Audi A3 2.0 turbo

 

i like the looks of 09 wrx, but heard 09/10 ms3 faster than wrx. both subaru and cutter mazda turn me down bcoz i have a bad credit. im putting 2k down and i can go up to 700 a month.

 

probably cuz the wrx loses more power to the wheels. ms3 is good deals for the money. Cheaper and faster.

 

the 2010 ms3 is coming to cutter mazda ala moana july 31st. and they have launching on aug 1st. and they will show modded ms3, and free food

 

i would say it depends on what your spending range and all that is and how long you plan to finance. I used to be in car sales and all that junk haha. Fun TIMES! I would recommend getting an AWD over FWD. I never really liked mazda much personally though so MS3 wont get anything outta me. I always thought their rides were a little bumpy.

 

The my04 srt4 was faster than the my04 wrx. Didn't mean that was a better car. If you are buying a straight line car for 25k like you are sounding get a muscle car, but it doesn't mean much in Hawaii. No track.

I know this is the 2008 WRX, but iirc, the MS3 beatout an 06 WRX in a comparison, and an 09 in another publication. I'd find them, but I gotta go work, haha.

Dont think the MS3 is a straight line performer only, it handles great for a FWD car. And when I tested one, there was very little torque steer, Mazda tweaked the suspension in the MS3 to curb it.

i went to the credit union today and they told me to check with them on friday, im hoping that i will get approve and i will decide of which car is im going to pick.

I am sure I will get alot of crap for this, but I have been digging on the new Volvo C30, inline 5 turbo, that you know is bulletproof, probably on of the coolest interiors I've seen, and I just love the hard edge window and roof lines.

I never thought I would actually ever say , 'I want a volvo" but they're pretty cool...

not sure that i seen 2010 wrx on servco in mapunapuna. i saw a white 2009 wrx hb.

 

No snide commers here, the C30 is a brilliant car. It handles a bit on the soft side, but that 5 cyld has a ton of mid-range power. And it looks good too (although it'd look even better without the plastic looking trim). It's the closest we'll get in America to the Focus ST.

How much do those go for though? If it's a Volvo I'm guessing it's out of the range of the WRX and MS3.
