Car Info: dangerous with a wrench
the problem with lowering the ride height too much is that the suspension geometry of the car is designed to work correctly at a certain range of ride heights.
In practical terms, this means that when a car's ride height is lowered below the designed in range, the tire takes on too much (usually) negative camber. For most street driving purposes, you don't want to run too much camber because it causes more tire wear, and then you have to buy new tires sooner than you otherwise would.
In terms of the JIC's, one thing that easy to do which will help the handling of the car is to swap the front and rear springs. The GDA chassis in the US is much more front heavy than the JDM version, and so the spring rates used on the flta-2's (7kg in front and 5kg in the rear) are designed for a different car setup than what we get here. If you simply swap the front and rear springs, the back will be set up stiffer than the front, which will help to remove some of the gda's understeer.
hope this helps some...
