Hey now, don't generalize lol

If you want to hang with a girl and don't mind her going shopping then hit up Capitola Village. Lots of shops around there. If you are hangin with the girl to get to know her, then go to Santa Cruz. Beaches and sunshine. Nice drive up there, and then you both can have fun. The boardwalk is free, only need to pay if you wanna go on rides. And there is the fun little candy places and arcades.

Being a girl, I'd prefer the boardwalk with someone I didn't know very well. Its easier to break up akward silences with "ooh look how fun" or screaming on a rollercoaster. Plus you can take breaks and chill on the beach adn talk

From what I read he doesn't want to go further than an hour drive not an hour total time

14 minutes is 13 minutes too long for me.

sexual inuendo aside, was thinkng about a trip to stanford university, otherwise i think i will do a HMB trip. Generally speaking is there traffic in the afternoons going towards san jose, or going towards HMB? Like, 2-4pm afternoon time i mean.

and thanks, all of you

If you want a nice drive with a nice destination - take her to The Brookdale Lodge
Get off 17 near the Summit, and a really nice drive through the Redwoods to this super cool inn/restraunt.
If things go well you can rent a hotel room there

if you leave at 2pm you will have no traffic and leaving is no issue theres just minor rush hr traffic coming over the hill from that side. at about 430 hwy 1 will be a bit slow but nothing that doesnt take an extra 5 minutes or so.

btw Jen nice one. LOL

How about Roaring Camp? it such a nice setting and then after you can hit up the boardwalk which is not very far away also i believe they have a train that actually takes you literally right in front of the Boardwalk. which means you save on gas and have extra $$ to woo her on a fancy dinner for later??
