CalTrans workers love it when NASCAR is in Sonoma because all the toothless inbred mullet groupies and thier 19 youngins that follow the drivers from race to race ****** them up and have a cookout in the parking lot. I stay away from NASCAR events for the same reason I do not go to the state fair - I have no interest in seeing a bunch of fat sweaty pigs and their farm animals (or in the case of NASCAR their sisters/wives).

Too bad Paul Tracy was not allowed to race by stupid CART. I would have gone if he was competing.

I don't like NASCAR in general but I decided to go and check it out at Sears 2 years ago. In terms of pure motorsports experience, it was really good. Loud *** cars going hella fast THOUGHT turns. What more can you ask for? So, that was good.

However, the level of overall uglyness and redneckness was shocking... Confederacy flags, mullets, budweiser and extremely overweight (read: they were pulled around on little carts) really made me wonder about going again.

And, it took us like 4 hours to get out of there due to heavy traffic after the end of the race.

Stupid Robby Gordon...got his ego crammed right back down his throat....little karma..haaaa. lost 3 wheels. haaa.

Good thing was that good old Boris went from 19th to 6th...good showing. And another little known road driver finished in second I think it was.

Yeah for good showing from the under dogs.

It was pretty disgusting watching those cars lumber around that course...lol... I tell ya even tho Jeff grew up on road track its much better that he's staying with NASCAR and not moving to F1 .... at least for now. It would be embarresing watching him get crushed by Shumacker.

It was funny... i saw this video clip of Marcus Grunholm giving Gordon a ride in a WRC car... not his... one lent to him, and the look on Jeffs face was priceless......
