Most of you clubbers know NASCAR is coming to Infineon Raceway (Sears Point) at Sonoma for the Dodge/Save Mart 350 next Sunday (June 27, 2004 at 1:00 PM).
I was wondering if any of you guys/gals are going? I'm still trying to get tickets to it, but time is against me and tickets running out soon.
Anyways if I can go and get in, will I see any clubbers out there?
BTW, GO JEFF GORDON GO! I'd wear my NASCAR Dupont Motorsport jacket in crazy burning hell weather! I don't care! Gotta show who I'm rootin for!

Actually a hefty amount these NASCAR drivers have had road course experience in their earlier developing racing careers. However, yeah, majority of NASCAR drivers don't practice that much cause there's only 2 road curcuits in the season (Infineon Raceway and Watkins Glen). However, it must take major skill to just be able to turn a NASCAR around a road circuit! :P
Anyways, there are a substantial bunch that do really well in road courses such as Jeff Gordon and Robby Gordon for example (no relation, they're actually rivals). Everytime I watch NASCAR at a road course though, I'm always thrilled with the tight narrow passes and even the thrashing between drivers.
Oh yeah, also to mention that American Le Mans is showing up at Infineon Raceway like in a month or so. Watch out for that too!
