i wasn't attempting to compare the two stores (Super Autobach and Gruppe-S), just the mere likeliness of not having to order on-line, bring the car to another shop to do certain install, limp the car across town to have something else install before I can do the first modification I originally wanted.
Sorry for misleading. There is more to touch and look at in Autobach. Unless Mike is willing to be touched and looked at.
Kidding.

Where do you think that pic of Longtravel came from in Mikes' office?

ps
gary at gruppe-s told me this at my interview
+1 to gruppe-s

Group S (in terms of rally) was also the name of the class that was supposed to be even more powerful then Group B. It never saw the light of day.
With all the deaths in the 1986 from Group B rally car accidents (to both drivers and spectators), Group B was cancelled and Group S was also cancelled before it even had the chance to see competition. A few companies made some prototype Group S cars, and if you thought Group B cars were fast, you'd be in for a suprise.

hate to jump on the bandwagon late. gruppe-s has done my:
-turbo back exhaust and re-flash...mike was not happy with the dyno results after the re-flash and told me to put better gas and drive it awhile...then bring it back for another go round. never had to come back...i was happy with the way it drove...
-30k mile service.
-5-6th gear tranny conversion / re-build. tranny is better than when it was new.
needless to say, i wont go anywhere else for work on my STi.
i do agree about the lobby...DAMN...lol...!!!
