i was actually looking forward to this when they announced it like a years ago.
new lancers are mopping the floor with the new imprezas, in terms of design >_<

The sportback whatever is nice, but weak because they only come in that SST auto tranny.

I like how it looks better than the suby hatch, but no matter how wel that SST tranny is, it doesnt replace a full MT.

The EVO's mop the floor with Imprezas now, and since the very first impreza to roll off the floor. The EVO model has always been a better performing car then the Impreza, but you also sacrifice comfort and overall quality with that performance. The EVO isn't THAT much better in performing then the STi, so it's good to have a subie because for that little bit for performance you instead get a much better feeling car with nicer parts inside and out.

First thing this reminded me of was all those EVOs that rolled at Thunderhill... I think someone put together a photo of one that the trunk got ripped off of saying "look Mitsu is making a EVO hatch" or something... Anyways.
