Mismatched hoods... Uber cool or colorblind?
just my opinion, but it looks a little too "asian" for me...and i'm asian! if my name was johny nguyen and i am ultra buff with a wife beater and tatoos, it would be the mod for me. LOL.
i agree that the WRX hood is already pretty lightweight. that money is better spent elsewhere.

Actually I did weigh both of them, maybe it's not half but it's pretty close to it. Why would you replace your hood to something heavier anyways? That's why most people get CF becuase it's lighter, I have it because I got it for free. :banana:

I personally think CF shouldn't be such a "fashion statement" with the black and white zebra stripes showing but it's ok... I just think CF was meant to be light, not to be shown off like a trophy girl. Just a personal preference, I'd paint CF if I had it as well.
On a sidenote, I may want UK300 headlights for my car and keep it black. However, I like that look... and it's not CF which may make me sound hypocritical or not.
Btw, I don't think CF is that bad if it's naked and showing. It's an all right look with me. Different strokes for different folks. Stop the hate!

Actually, I liked the stock painted hood a lot better than the CF hood, yet I'm still using my CF hood. Don't ask me, I can't make up my mind anymore... 
So I'm not picking any sides at all, not tryin to argue with anybody either
