Uber expensive, even used??
Been looking through some used car ads and find that a lot of used Subarus are WAAAAY expensive. 2000 2.5RS's going for 21k, even with private sale...
do Subaru's sell for blue book value? Or is there something about them that inflates the price? (non WRX)

But yeah... I dunno... it just makes me wonder if I, has a buyer, have any bargaining power?

But an Impreza TS (or L)? Or even a Brighton? or an outback?

Where are you? Have you looked nationally? I was looking at a new or slightly used impreza several years ago, when I live in Utah, where there are tons of them. When I moved to New Mexico, I noticed that the price went up, and there are fewer on the road. Just a thought.

I think the price is the same all over Canada. (23k, according to what I've seen).
I may be able to get a better deal out of province, but then I'd have to pay for my travel costs and it might not be worth it.

I check autotrader all the time.
and buysell.com (Canadian)
those prices still tend to be thousands higher than recommended black book price...
heh... I dunno. I know it's a general rule to ask for a bit more than what you're willing to sell (a car for), so maybe all prices are just naturally inflated.
