exactly. it's an outdated event.

back in the old days, parents needed a way to get rid of their daughters. if you werent married by XX years old, you were an old maid.

these days with women having the same jobs and $$$ as men, being married is just a... formality.

and yes, i dont wanna say the statistics about how many end up divorced in the US... or like the governor of NJ, declaring he's gay despite being married and having a kid.

for a while, the IN thing was to co-habitate. that was in the mid to late 90s. somehow marriages are making a comeback.

my sister got married and saw how much $$$ was made that she eventually opened her own wedding store...


oh well... congrats to SALTY. dont drink too much... we'll shoot an extra magazine tomorrow in your honor...

With divorce laws being the ways they are, I don't see how any male would willingly get married. Mariage is for chicks that somehow think a ring is going to keep us from wandering, there is NOTHING in it for the guy. Had I not been a naive barely 21 year old kid, had I known then what I know now, I would have never gotten married.
