Yeah, and Manny gets to play today despite the fact it hasn't been 50 games. You also have the Giants hot on your heels plus the Dodgers have not yet hit a slump which is bound to happen.
eat your words and man up
dodgers are doing a hell of a lot better than you expected
TEAM W L % GB
Los Angeles 46 24 .657 -
San Francisco 37 32 .536 8.5
not too hot on our heels
but on the heels none the less
Okay, I know this is BAIC, and I'm from Pennsylvania, but I've been a Dodgers fan since birth.
The Dodgers have exceeded everyone's expectations by remaining the best through everything so far. Losing Manny was a blow, but everyone on that team stepped up to the plate to carry the burden. It's been a fantastic stretch of baseball, for the best team there is right now. I don't think a slump will happen. I predict that the Dodgers will be in the World Series this year, and I think they'll win it. I also predict that the NLCS will be a repeat of last year, Dodgers vs the Phillies, and this time I'll be on the happy side of that one. I think it's about as safe a bet as anyone can possibly make right now.
Dodger blue will reign supreme... and it's about damn time too.

Yes, the Dodgers did a lot better than I expected without Manny, where did I ever say they didn't?

Not to mention your entire season is tainted by your superstar testing positive for roids, I can't wait to see all the hypocritical Dodger fans who threw syringes at Bonds stand up to cheer Manny when he gets back just proving my point Dodger fans are just a bunch of douchebags.
thats a 5 game difference
or 12% difference
but wow the giants are actually doing a lot better than i would have predicted. I thought they would be in third but nope they are in second. This may turn out to be one exciting season
