I hope you don't mind that I join this conversation. Sigma PI was kind enough to point it out.
We are in agreement that the Dodgers play in a AAA division.
But to be honest, the Dodgers have had good pitching and that is what wins ball games. The Phillies are currently in one of those 'baseball' slumps that every team experiences. Plus they have lost one starting pitcher (Myers) and our perfect closer started the season with a bad knee. He has been on the 15 day DL. But they are still a game and a half ahead of the stinking Mets during this six game losing streak.
I still see the Dodgers and the Phillies playing the NLCS again this year. Whose better in the NL east?
Bob..

AL East: .536
AL Central: .472
AL West: .508
NL East: .465

NL West: .516
Look like your precious NL East is the AAA division at the moment in time. The Dodgers do not have good pitching, they have decent pitching and one hell of a line up. The Giants have great pitching and a slightly below average lineup. A slump does not incorporate a 13-22 record at home, that is just bad baseball, not to mention you just got swept in consecutive series' by the cellar dwellers of the AL East. The St. Louis Cardinals will represent the NL in the world series this year.
if the giants would sign a couple better rbi hitters they'd be #1 by far..
stupid lincecum, hes the second giant ive ever loved... first being will clark.. hes one of my alltime favorites.

You are calling the NL West a AAA division? It has the 2nd highest winning percentage in baseball.
