I'm so glad Manny isn't in Boston anymore.
We just need to get Jeff Kent in the discussion somehow as well.

Ive watched baseball my entire life, how much of what Ive watched do I remember? Probably post 98 or so. I got turned off, like everyone else, by the 94 strike.

Yeah, most guys dont play Gold Glove defense into their 40's, roids or not, not to mention he hasnt played in 2 seasons.

Not to mention your entire season is tainted by your superstar testing positive for roids, I can't wait to see all the hypocritical Dodger fans who threw syringes at Bonds stand up to cheer Manny when he gets back just proving my point Dodger fans are just a bunch of douchebags.
I hope you don't mind that I join this conversation. Sigma PI was kind enough to point it out.

We are in agreement that the Dodgers play in a AAA division. But to be honest, the Dodgers have had good pitching and that is what wins ball games. The Phillies are currently in one of those 'baseball' slumps that every team experiences. Plus they have lost one starting pitcher (Myers) and our perfect closer started the season with a bad knee. He has been on the 15 day DL. But they are still a game and a half ahead of the stinking Mets during this six game losing streak.

I still see the Dodgers and the Phillies playing the NLCS again this year. Whose better in the NL east?

Bob..

I bleed dodger blue, but i will say.. i have lost huuuuge respect for manny in all of this.
and i honestly don't think he should be a starter until pierre gets into a slump.

id rather see pierre stay in as our lead off before manny comes back. put manny in as a DH or something...

but none the less i will applaud mannys return just because he is a good ball player and was huge for our team, but to even compare manny to bonds is retarded. bonds broke records on PED's, Manny just played hard. how can you compare them????? if manny broke a homerun record on PED's i would put a * after it. but he didn't. did he?

i just love knowing my dodgers stayed as the #1 team in all of the MLB with or without manny PED ramirez.. what say you to that giants fans? could the giants have done that without bonds? wait.. when was the last time the giants were #1 in the MLB..

and something the giants fans have to like.. is a national west team being number 1 in mlb... sooo much **** is talked about our division it's about time one of our teams shuts the rest up,.
