Red face lost a girl's number... need your help to get it back!!

Okay, here's the deal... I met a really cool girl while clubbing at the Glas Kat in SF last night. She's an international student from Japan who goes to the Academy of Art College in SF and her first name is "Rei"--I think. Anyway, I entered her number into my cell phone but I accidently forgot to save it so now I can't call her!!

What can I do to to find her, short of scoping out the campus (yeah right)? Anyone go to the same school and know who I'm talking about? Is there a student directory or anything I can look up online? Can I call the school and pretend I'm some guy from some company/INS/etc. looking for this girl? The problem is I don't even know if "Rei" is her real name, full name, etc. Or am I SOL? Argh...

yeah dude that definitely sucks. the worst is when you both write your numbers down, but you wake up the next morning with your own number on a piece of paper instead of hers...

Without full name, you won't be able to find out thru school directory. Even if you are pretending to be an officer from INS, they won't give out the number to you thru the phone.
my only advise is go back to Glas Kat and hope you will see her again.

hahhahahaa

I go to the Academy...but that school's got so many Japanese girls, let alone one named Rei. Good luck finding her again haha.

Her name was probably Reiko. Chen? That is Chinese...I believe you are referring to "Chan"!

Alot of the J Girls in the states wipe out the KO on the end of their names, because it means "Girl"...and "Child". Chan is a term of endearment. My wife is "Arika Chan" to me.

Just to give you guys a Japanese 101 lesson!
