Claudio Franca is the big name down there.
http://www.claudiofrancabjj.com/
And I suppose Sandro Santiago is his competition.

Here is my suggestion. If you want the best BJJ experience in the area go to Claudio. If you want more MMA, all around training go to Kaijin... but let it be known that Claudio will be the best for BJJ if you want to get really good at it.

Dude Kaijin is Garth Taylor, he's like one of the most accomplished American BJJ practitioners... ever. (He also got his BB from Claudio Franca) So just pointing out that you wouldn't miss out on anything on the BJJ front going to either gym (meaning it's not like one gym is awesome and the other one sucks)
The other BJJ instructor there, Paul Schreiner, was also awesome but left to go start a Marcelo Garcia branch in NYC.

Paul was another good guy I got to train with, I imagine he's going to be a nightmare when he comes back to visit after spending all that time on the mat with Marcelo.
