Yep, Edge or Custom Alignment in Mountain View if you want someone really local. Custom Alignment is top notch suspension/brakes shop. But they are pricy. They charge per axle for alignment. $120+$120 front and rear. You may ask for front only.

Auto Innovations has one two alignments on my car, and I've been very pleased with them both.

Per Axle? WTF? That's weird.

I'd never pay $240 for an alignment unless it was something intense... cast/camber plates. Corner weighting. Etc.

Makes me want to put a rack in my garage if I can get away with charging 2-3 bills for alignments.

@ $240 ... if you're a car enthusiast, you might as well buy ...

SmartString ... $400
SmartCamber ... $215

And no rack/lift needed but time and patience are required!

~$200 sounds reasonable if you want custom alignment settings with coilovers, camber plates, aggressive tire/wheel combos. I was hosed by a popular budget friendly shop on this thread.

That said, if you have basic set-up almost any shop will get the job done.

Have any experience with those. I need to do the alignment on my caddy and I've been thinking of something like this instead of trucking it out somewhere. Thing is like 2.5 inches off the ground. I don't even know who could deal with it.

newton bros here in seaside might be able to. They do my alignments now since they're so local, and they work on fairly old cars

Yep, I have the setup.

It's a ***** just to set it up for the first time. Once you have it figured out, its still a PITA to adjust. You will need to jack up the car for any adjustment, rolling it back and forth to settle the suspension, measure and repeat!

But it works!
