true that fatal velocity.
We definately would have to have strong grounds to stand one. I don't expect SOA to do anything because yeah they are one of the highest number sellers in the country. But I did want everyone aware that they were using such rediculous tactics. And to be fully aware before they even consider purchasing there. If I can steer just one or two people from stevens creek to one of the other better dealerships in the bay area then so be it. If they start loosing sales then maybe they will get their crap together.

Ok, so i bent a valve. Big deal, right? I'm still under warranty (after i take all the mods off) and i take my '02 to Steven's Creek Auto Imports to see what can be done about it. Long story short: The good news is The valve was replaced along with a worn cam, rocker assembly, and shims. Free of charge! Sweet right? WRONG!!! It took 2 weeks for the work to be done and here's the kicker.... THEY GAVE ME THE CAR BACK WITH A LOOSE CON-ROD!!!! What ever jack@$$ tech reassembled the engine must not have his torque specs down cus i drove the car for about 2hrs and i started hearing some very loud rattling coming from under the hood, next thing you know my block got ventilated by the #3 connecting rod!!
The good news is i get a new engine out of this whole nightmare. The bad news about the good news is the service guy said they would have the new engine in the car in a week... IT'S BEEN THREE WEEKS!!! Still no car!!! Grrr!...
The moral of the story is: Friends don't let friends get service at Steve's Creek.
Learn from my mistake,
- Ryan

I'm going to go ahead and assume that your mods caused the problem. If not, shoot me.
I agree with porkchopferno 100%. If I were that kind of dick, I'd forward this thread to the service manager of Steven's Creek. Luckily I'm not. Scamming the dealer for a new engine ain't cool.

Left the link to the statman-versus-WRXs2Fast4U story for fun.

This board has come down hard on warranty scammers in the past.. (see link above)
How'd you manage to bend a valve? if it wasn't due to the mods, no prob.. if you were running 18lbs of boost with no engine management..
