Angry Let me flame on Stevens Creek Subaru

To make an EVEN longer story short...here are the cliffs notes:

-Bought STi from Stevens Creek Subaru with extended Warranty in Jan 04.
-Car is paid off in Feb.
-Canceled Extended Warranty following the small print cancellation policy/instructions.
-Yesterday (over 2 months later) received letter from Stevens Creek Subaru indicating payment via check was made to the finance co. that I don't even owe money to any more.
-Called Stevens Creek, they said they can't help me.
-Called finance co., they said payment to me would take 1-2 months b/c they have to make sure that check from Stevens Creek doesn't bounce. They said they've never heard of the payment being sent to the finance co. and that it should have been forwarded to me.
-They recommended that I call Stevens Creek and ask them to put a stop payment on the check payable to them and ask them to cut me the check directly.
-Called Stevens Creek, NO ONE in finance has come in yet (they were suppose to be there at 8, I was told).
-Called Stevens Creek again at noon, finance is not answering (c'mon, like they're really busy selling cars ).
-Some other guy takes down my name and number and says someone in finance will call me back today (042304).
-NO ONE has called me.
-Gave up on Stevens Creek (could only take so much BS)
-Check from original financier arrived today with NO help from SCS.
-Case closed and I still think SCS needs to change their ways of conducting business.

Sorry just had to vent...I was planning on giving myself a bday present of rims for the new car, and seeing this check has made me an impatient b*&ch (bday is in Sept. )

Uhh... Didn't you read about how bad they suck cack on this website before you bought the car?

Oh well. Good luck with it. I'm pretty sure you're story is not over yet unfortunately. The stories we've all heard on this board go on for a lot longer than that one.

yes, i heard...and i heard it again and again afterwords. oh well, lesson learned i guess. normally, i'd just sit it out and get the check in a month or two, but these rims are calling my name.

bah...it's stevenscreek. First thing I did when looking to buy was ask about local dealerships.

But hey......your car is paid off......you got nothing too bad to complain about. I still owe $20k.

Stevens Creek Subaru customers, we need your honest reviews if you (not a friend of a friend) have purchased a car from this dealership. Thanks.

It's a shame you didn't get another one so you could lay the smack down on your bf, Tomski.

In regards to the dealership, I f'ing hate that place more than I hate life itself. I was forced to go back a month ago to buy an oil filter... I though "Hey, what can go wrong? it's just an oil filter". Well, I roll up, there are a bunch of salesmen standing near the doorway, one of them says "Hey, why don't you upgrade your old car to an STi?", I said "Cuz I don't want to". he then replied with "But your car is old, and slow, and looks outdated". I was like, "You're a piece of **** and I hope you die". I smiled and walked into the parts area. I go to get a filter... I look at the invoice, they were trying to charge me $15.** for an oil filter! I told them that they are out of their minds and I wish the place would burn down. (The parts guy didnt talk to the sales people out front if you're wondering). So yeah, I walk out and all the sales guys are staring at me... there's this big ugly gorrilla guy giving me the stare down... I rolled my eyes, got in my car, and blasted some crazy *** German metal... (Volume 29ish). Yeah, last time I'm ever going there. I hope the place gets hit by an airplane.
