I think they should not be allowed to use unmarked cars for traffic enforcement. for our safety and theirs.

I agree, they are trying to be too tricky, I personally wouldn't pull over if that was behind me because I'm not going to let myself get jacked by some guys who rented a uniform and put some lights in their hood scoop. They need markings on the vehicle to distinguish them from a normal car. Lately I have seen the crown vic's getting rid of the lights on top or replacing them with what looks like an L.E.D. set of lights. I also have been seeing lights in similar placement to the LGT. Atleast I would know that it's a cop pulling me over.

Might want to check your state's laws on minimum markings. I know here (in Ohio) there are laws for minimum markings on traffic enforcement vehicles. Obviously, drug units and other specialized task force type cars don't need to worry about this, since they aren't pulling people over for traffic violations. Regardless, with the minimum marking law, you aren't required to pull over for a vehicle that doesn't say police on it, however, it's strongly suggested that you call 911/dispatch and/or head to the nearest police station, obeying all traffic laws and such.
