Hmm I say hit up Strider327. He's like our Traffic Citation guy here on i-club. I can vouch for him, he got me out of 4 tickets already. Awesome guy and service!

How does he know how fast you were going when you passed him? Was he in his car already, or did he get that speed reading while chasing you down. If he checked your speed afterward, then couldn't you just say you did slow down (because you couldn't change lanes quick enough), but then went faster after you passed? I also think it's highly unlikely that he got you at exactly 65mph. It seems like he didn't have a reading, didn't want to give you a speeding ticket, so just put down the actual speed limit.

Never ever lie in court. Don't say you slowed down if you didn't. Just don't say that you didn't slow down or what speed you were going. The burden is on him to PROVE that you were going X speed. If he can't prove it, there's no reason to tell him anything. Going to court is 25% knowing what to say, and 75% knowing what NOT to say. Get familiar with the 5th amendment, it's there for your protection.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. He knows his stuff pretty well, I was also very skeptical about it and had a lot of questions. I mean a lot of questions, but he assured me the facts and this and that and so far I've been clean of being guilty. When I first met him, he looked like Bruce Lee! LOL

Agreed. I guess I did write that but yeah you shouldn't actually say that. You could just say that there's no way that the cop could have known what speed you were going as you passed unless he had the radar gun on you. At that point it would be up to him to prove you wrong.
