Because of the principal where they are trying to take "bad" cars of the roads that pollute and destroy our precious earth...

...it would defeat their purpose if they were to give you credit for turning in a "bad" car, only to sell it and put it right back on the road

CFC was a stupid *** tax payer funded program that resulted in nothing. Just like every other BO program of the past year.

 

It didn't result in nothing. I got to have fun destroying some cars. For some reason the 5.0L Fords kept going and going and going and going. They were hard to kill.

Oh, and that tag isn't there because they're nice. That tag is there because it was required under the program.

You may not have seen the benefit, but I know a lot of dealers that would disagree that it was a waste.
