Went looking around pick n pull in Newark today and came across a 93 Legacy Turbo Sedan.

At first I was stoked since I've never found one in a yard before with the engine still there. See the bottom pic for the dealbreaker.

There are still some decent parts on it like turbo x-member, fsb, header, uppipe, turbo, rear lsd, rear vented brakes ect....

Just thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone wants to pull anything off it. There is also a black SVX over there that still has the motor fyi.

 

Nice of them to put a tag on it.

 

did you come across any other Impreza/WRX's at pick n pull?

 

Not likely at that place. Maybe some wagon GC8 chassis. No GDA or GDB.

Seriously, someone could have used that car as transportation for several thousand miles more. Such BS.

There's also a green Impreza OBS wagon there.

 

That's just sad, I could have used it too...

 

So is it even possible to rebuild an engine after they seize it up or is it FUBAR-ed to good?
