If I were a cop I'd pull over everyone who had issues following the directions of traffic signs. I'd also make it a point to peg all the lifted trucks doing 90mph on the freeway (WTF are they thinking?). Basically, I shouldn't be a cop because I know the law, but more so because I can't stand idiot drivers.

I was at the sf courtroom and overheard a guy leaving. He was talking about how a cop pulled him over front no plate. The snobby guy was like, "I drive a jag. Jags don't have a spot for front license plates."

He ended up losing in court.

harleys or loud bikes dont get pulled over by cops because when they are loud, they are less likely to get hit by a car that doesn't see them. I think i read that in the motorcycle handbook somewhere. They are loud for their safety.. i guess

How about cars that drive slow and cruise on the fast lane...that's my major pet peeve! It should be left as a passing lane that's all...once you've done your passing, then move the hell back to the right and stay there.

Yeah, the "Loud pipes saves lives" always seems like BS to me. If those same people were really worried about being noticed they would wear fluorescent vests and bright clothes - but obviously that wouldn't be cool. My bike still has its stock exhaust and I think it puts out 84dB or something like that.

but yeah I get away with being WAY louder than I would with any import, right now Im running Z06 exhaust with the exhaust baffle flappers open all the time, meaning Im running basically open exhaust, most cops give me a smile and thumbs up when I roll by lol!
