I need a new windshield
my 3 year old windshield with 5 chips finally cracked... but interestingly enough it wasn't from those 5 chips. anywho, anyone know of someone or someplace that does a good job and has good deals? i prefer OEM spec glass, unless you guys can tell me other wise.
(i did search, didn't find anything, maybe i'm just a bad searcher)

I'd say a terrible searcher. If you enter 'windshield replacement' in search you'll get many pages of results.
Personally, I used Safelite. They can come to you, or you can visit their office. It was $340ish including tax, labour, and a new gasket seal (at $70). You can reuse your existing gasket, but this isn't recommended because it can leak.
There are a bunch of cheaper places, but you'd need to browse through the threads to find them.

This is up in SF, but for future reference...
I got mine at Save On Glass in SF - $260 for my '02 - PPG glass, no tint, no third visor with non-OEM gasket.. you'll need to call first to special order, but they're great there, cheap, and fast. It was installed well - the tint matches. I'm picky and I'm happy with the install.

PPG is a brand of glass. Good strong stuff, better than OEM.
