Technically they're called "Kaidou Racer", but no American knows that term so they just call them by what their historical drivers, the bosozoku ( lit. "explosive running tribes" or car/motorcycle gangs). "Shakotan" is another term, but no American knows it either.

yakuza is more legit than the mafia now-a-days. but those cars are sweet. its like a joke on ricers but those guys definitely put some time and effort into their cars and i respect that
