This BEAT UP Acura was honking at me like mad at stop lights the other day in Folsom as I was driving home and it took me one or two lights to realize he wanted to race. Full stereotypical ricer look going on, primer, busted lights, tires rubbing in the fenders, etc. So at the next light I gave him a rev when he revved at me then when the light turned green I just let him blaze off on his own. I'm not really trying to get another ticket since there's a lot of cops around this part of town.....

So this guy takes off like a hurricane in that little beater, and DAMN that thing was FAST. I could hear the turbo spooling from inside my car and the BOV hit as he ripped off into the distance. Thank god I didn't race him... The thing is, I swear I could hear his engine pinging as he drove off. Too bad his engine will probably break before he gets a chance to primer the rest of his car to match, hahaha.

It's always the people that say this that get owned by a turbo b18c5 EG6 that's tuned properly. You should have raced my old Civic.

Heh. After reading this conversation, I must admit that my OBS is the only car I've ever bought that came riced from the factory.

A hood scoop AND cooling vents! How cool is THAT?

Too bad they're blocked off.

Or, how about this: "I wish I could trade cars with you RIGHT NOW." If their girlfriend is with them, I can say, "you are SO lucky, young lady, to be sitting in that fine machine with yo' man!"

I don't think I'd waste energy getting upset or pissed off at kids displaying a little immaturity, though. Most of them will outgrow it by the time they reach their early 20s. I'd feel dumber if they actually got me to street race against them.

Generally the only people who rev on me are civics. I never have issues with cars that have more hp because neither of us have anything to prove. Plus, they see the yellow and even if they won't admit it, they're scared just a little.

If a guy in a civic does rev on me though, and I'm alone, I look at em and just shake my head. If my gf is with me, she laughs at him. It's especially funny when it's a guy and his gf or a friend, and my gf laughs and completely demoralizes the driver.

OWNED.
