It was this board. almost a year ago, befor they rest the post counts every other month and when we still had member numbers instead of just the month you joined.

Jason, you don't realize how good we have it here in CA.

In CT, within a 4 hour drive, I can think of only 1 drag strip, and a handful of 1/8 mile oval tracks and of course, lime rock.

Chris... like my post said, because it is worse in other places (and I do agree with you) doesn't change the objective truth that it still sucks to get to the track from any part of the urban bay area (i.e. where most of the people are) and it still costs me $200 a pop. (side note: What would be interesting though, is to find a statistic that shows the percentage of accidents caused by street racing. My honest guess would be that the percentage of people eating Mikey D's while driving causes more accidents... hey maybe we can sue
