Have fun... but be careful out there.

There are too many times people get hurt from street racing. Joe's right on many points.

Besides a true test of driving ability requires turning.

I would recomend tracking or auto X.

but always be careful.

Hahahahah that's too funny. I'm not sure, but I think I got smarter when I went from the muscle car to the import scene.

"I'm only running 7 cylinders"

"That's ok I'm only running 4!"

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH!

Yeah well, any street racing puts you in the dumbass category... (that's an elipse there), but I do it too on occassion. Usually I can just say no, but sometimes teaching a lesson is irressistable. Better it be drag racing than thinking you're out on a road course. I'm not legitimizing anything, just a lesser of two evils.

Either way... let's see those movies!

Thetrickster,

Nice kills!

Some people on the boards are none too fond of street racing. They have a very valid point of view. Personally, I don't screw around on the street anymore. I almost had my *** thrown in the can a few months back. I learned my lesson.

The people that have objections to street racing are nice people. They have nothing against you personally. They fear the worst, and that fear is well justified.

Too many young punks are out pushing their cars past their limits and losing control. Often times, they themselves, or, god forbid, the innocent, are needlessly killed.

If you are going to mess around, please do it with some responsibility. No school zones, or busy intersections. Don't let your ego override your common sense (IE, don't activate the battleshort, it is not a life or death situation to win a competition).

BTW, I took out a modded LS1 SS From 70-130 on 280 last year. I walked away from him. That was my favorite kill.

Take care man, and be safe! Welcome to the boards!,
Andy

PS If you really want to wax him, challenge him to a game of cat and mouse up to the Lick Observatory! You will out accelerate, out brake, and out corner his redneck mobile!

Peaaaace,
Andy

I personally think street racing is bad. However, when you just drive and mash the pedal once in a blue moon, it is not all that bad. Its just "spirited driving" . But, to schedule races, bring back up, do multiple launches on the street etc is pretty silly if you ask me.

Of course, everyone drives fast. Of course we modify our cars to be faster. No one in here will tell you what to do but if you post something like this, be prepared to get some heat. Typically, street racing posts or "KiLLz" are not liked here by the majority.

When I read this, I think of it being said in Barry White's voice, all deep and slow...."B coooool, like Travis T.!"
