I could be wrong...
but it seems to me that putting headers on an EJ25 bumps you all the way up to Street Modified. Am I reading the regs wrong, where they are actually included under "any exhaust" in STX?

Anything exhaust wise is allowed in ST-X exept one cat must be present within 6" of the stock location... ST-S is more restrictive, you can run headers and whatever midpipe/muffler you want as long as the stock cats remain, which is why headers designed like the borlas or TWE are good for that stuff... If it was up to me though, I would just go nuts and go straight to modified

Haha, yeah, my heart says Modified, but my wallet says D stock on RE92s! I am currently working out their differences in therapy, resulting in concessions by the wallet to a RSB and shifter and a promise by the primal urge for speed not to bring up the turbo kit til next year...
