Im mainly a more reserved rider. Sometimes my triple crown buddies dont even like riding with me unless they are super bored cause i never want to go to the jumps just bomb down the trails lol.
Likewise, I learned a looooooong time ago that I don't fly very well I dig technical ups/downs

Ride a newer Stumpjumper Comp.

I usually pedal unless i want to learn a new trail top to bottom then shuttles are where its at.
Come up one day!

Trust me, im 240....not outriding anyone anytime soon. It usually takes me two weeks of riding to build my stamina back up, so i can climb uconn without stopping.
Used to be able to pedal past the bench to the first water towers.

That sounds good. Are we talking the 19th? Or the weekend after? We can meet there and you guys can follow me down 9 to rincon road and we can climb ucon trail to empire grade and ride back down a good technical trail. Im always the last one down. Not into breaking bones or my $6k nomad lol.

I'm talking UCSC early morning on the 19th. I have time to ride until about 11:00am, but then I need to be on my way home to San Jose.

I don't mind showing up and getting on the bike by 7:45.

Oh as if that's ever stopped anyone in Santa Cruz! See also environmental impact of a bike vs a car...
