The white one with DirtyImpreza stickers or the black one with the mud flaps?
Also meeting up at Figuredos in McKinleyville at 5:30pm for a short drive/cruise. We're probably going to shoot up Fieldbrook towards Blue Lake. It's late notice but anyone else want to join us?

GOOD TIMES.
Forrest and I went on an impromptu drive this evening. My friend, Chris, also brought his 325i out. It just started misting when we met up but we decided to go for it anyway. We met in McKinleyville and headed down Center Ave. to Murray Road and continued until it turned into Fieldbrook. The roads in really good shape with plenty of elevation change, some really smooth turns, and a straight away or two where you can get on the gas. By the time we came back in the road was pretty wet. I snapped a few pictures. It's a little damp and a little dark but it's better than nothing!

Ah ok...the part about "coming out of corners without boost" made me go "huh?"
I will probably jinx myself by saying this, but with luck I will be the owner of a new ride by the end of the weekend
Either that or I will still have a pocket load of cash. I call that a win win!!

WOW dudes, I hate my life right now.
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/1597180748.html
I am about $3500 short

Price is probably a bit high, but I do love the black cars
Anyone want to buy a turbo kit, or some other random crap?

Yes, yes it is.
I will let you in on a little secret though...I already have a set of SSL Recaro seats (from an Evo VIII MR, just likes the ones in my WRX) an Ej255 full engine w/ turbo and intercooler, an 06 WRX front wiring harness/ECU/immobilizer/key, 06 WRX hubs/axles and 4 pot brakes, 06 WRX steering column, and an 06/07 WRX tranny that needs a 3rd gear. Andrewtech quoted me about $900 shipped for the rebuild, and I know a guy with a rear diff from his 06 that I can probably get on the cheap.
So I need to get back my old 06 WRX cluster from the dude I swapped trunks with, an STI or aftermarket steering wheel for the WRX, a set of wheels to fit over the 4 pots....oh ya, and A CAR TO SWAP INTO!! If I cannot find an RS for the right price, I will have to settle for a 96-97 L and do an RS front end conversion.
I always do things bass-akwards!!
PS: Hey ViperWRX...*Nudge Nudge*

Apparently me & the wife are going to Ft. Bragg area this weekend & RV camping out with a couple friends. Anything interesting to do there? More importantly, can anyone recommend any good bars for local brews? I am a big fan of Downtown Brown, and, while I'm pretty sure we're not going up north of Ft. Bragg (unless there's some really interesting roads to check out), I'd like to check out some local breweries while I'm there. Are there any other i-crub members local to the Ft. Bragg area down to meet somewhere around there & show us around? I'll be out there Saturday & Sunday, heading back probably Sunday night.
