But once you get tuned by Mike and take your car out for the first post tuned drive you quickly realize that the numbers arent as important as you may have once thought.

ya...I dont care totally about numbers, but they do provide a point of reference. It helps to have benchmarks when you are deciding what direction you want to go. Realistically, driving a car with the setup you are considering is the best way to decide.

Now I have to fix the stripped bolt hole on my TMIC and put it back on...and find a hose that actually fits. I am NOT impressed with Forge IC hoses. I am using the stocker again for now, and considering a front mount. Anyone know much about the ebay front mount? I hear it is good quality and can handle a decent amount of HP.

could you give more info? A LOT of people have had good results with it.....I am referring to the SSAC kit, not the others. Besides being stainless instead of aluminum, and costing a third of a namebrand kit, I don't see the difference. If I were going for mad HP with a bigger turbo then I might want something else.

I will probably just make this topmount work. It is a monster!! I am thinking if I trim the y-pipe it should fit better....

the SSAC kit is ok. If you go with anything ebay, that's the one to get for sure.

dude, we need to get something together for a Humboldt Subie club. I keep seeing various Imprezas EVERYWHERE (Outbacks too), and I want a way to make First Contact (sorry, been watching a lot of Star Trek ) I was thinking a flier or something...but then again, knowing the reclusiveness of Humboldt folk, that may **** people off lol.

I try to stop and BS with anyone I see at a gas station or parked, but there are a lot of times I see cars with nobody around. Any ideas?

No. I really don't care for the overall build quality of the Evo's. I just like the 4G63 to be honest. Since I have a fully built EJ257 and the better build quality, I really don't lust for an evo anymore.
