after hearing all the complaints about this show, i forced myself to actually watch it today for the first time. it was their coverage of SEMA, and they were checking out various cars. one car in particular that they stopped at was an evo, not a recent evo by anymeans, an older one.


"i came across this really unique mitsubishi lancer, now the thing that makes this thing stand apart from anything else is that this came from japan. now, the reason they brought this rally car over is that no one offers an AWD turbo car like this in the states."


then he goes on to say:
"they dropped it with a really trick set of wheels/tires"


first, burn in hell.

second, im not even going to try and correct the errors in that first statement.

third, i wish i could drop my car using wheels/tires

 

every car they talk about goes like this. This civic is tricked out! It got a body kit, cf hood, and a real nice set of rims. LOL

 

Yeah, the people don't know anything about cars.

They are infatuated with Hondas. The coolest thing that I saw was some chicks S14 JDM conversion with a 2 layer blue pearl coat over a CF hood.

It was funny, because that chick knew so much more that the "reporter".

It's got these "REALLY COOOOOOOL TRICKED OUT APC EURO TAIL LIGHTS"! LoL...how many times to they say that in one show? about 50?

It is basically just a Pep Boys/APC advertisement...Oh yeah, and you cannot forget the NOS! Ha ha ha!!!

Yeah, that show's a joke. All they care about is ricer crap and stereo setups. Have you seen the stupid pep boys ricer commercial they have w/ the guy from TFATF? It's pretty dumb 2.

 

My real grip with this show are statesments, not just about ricey stuff, but like this:

"This smokin' Supra has a turbo upgrade kit complimented by 20 such-and-such-very-specific wheels, a paint job that costs $1567.45 per gallon that's made by mixing this specific thing with that specific thing and lastly it has a specifically named body kits with APC euro tail lights"

So WHERE ARE THE SPECIFICS ON THE TURBO UPGRADE?

What's funny is all the big companies that have poured money in to the show. Pep boys practically owns all the ad slots, the Ford "in Focus" segment and Quaker State seem to have a section every episode.
