My pont is not to stress too much about where you go. The quality of education at Harvard is not that much better (if at all) than, say Grinnel or WUSTL. As long as its a decent school and not something like Nova Southwestern.

if its one thing i learned in college its that being on your own and learning how to live is the only way to figure out who you are and what you want to do. dont listen to people blabber about nothing all day and just believe it! thats called a cult. be your own person and try to see things from a more subjective perspective. dont worry about where youre gonna go right now. where ever you end up, enjoy that time and really take your time to learn about who you are; think about THE people first before you think about yourself. like the old saying, "walk a mile in another man's shoes." if you take this philosophy to heart, you will be happier and more satisfied in your own life, rather than stress yourself out at the moment, e.g. simply because someone didnt give you dibs on an uppipe. trust me, there are other things that are more important. like, say, i dunno, the genocide of millions in africa.
the next few years after college, if you've learned alot about yourself in school, will be figuring out where you stand in the world, and what you can contribute. if you dont even care about that at that point in your life, well then you are just apart of the masses, running around with their heads cut off = sellouts who will do anything to be happy at this very moment.
sorry for this old man speak. im only 25 and i feel middle aged giving this advice lol. and now im gonna tell you another cliche, but im being serious and i know old people used to say this to me: when i was your age, just 7 years ago, i was in a completely different place in my life... live. learn. be your own person. and now i feel like the polar opposite after college. its like a conversion from a reactionary republican to radical democrat. not quite, but i said its 'like'.
oh just a bit of background, since its the actual topic: i went to UCSD for five years. studied molecular biology and management science. i worked in cancer pharmaceuticals for a few years and now in devices for doing biological reserch. came out of hs with 3.9 and 1260 sat. my college grades? well.. thats another story LOL. apparently learning and living involves a lot of partying and 'other things'
